Phoenix Raceway

Phoenix Wine

Special thanks to Jonathan Stone of Phoenix Raceway for the suite experience and tour. Phoenix Raceway is a 1-mile, low-banked tri-oval racetrack in Avondale, Arizona, nearby Phoenix. Opened in 1964, it hosts two NASCAR race weekends annually, including the championship race since 2020. The track has also hosted CART, IndyCar Series, USAC, and the WeatherTech SportsCar Championship. NASCAR owns and operates the raceway.

On January 30, 2017, a $178 million renovation called the Phoenix Raceway Project Powered by DC Solar was announced, completed by October 2018. The facility is now called Phoenix Raceway, dropping “International” from its name.

Jonathan is looking at adding more capabilities and events, like concerts, Country Thunder.  The facility spands 600-700 acres, with camping facilities to accommodate 1000s.
