This morning’s Women at the Top meeting was truly inspiring! We kicked off by celebrating Heather Locke’s latest milestone with Hammersmith Support. Dawn Kennington-Bejar reminded us to get our Thanksgiving orders in for some delicious meals. Leslie Kland gave us a fascinating lesson on the history of engineering, highlighting Imhotep as the first known engineer (2630-2611 BC) with his plans to build an Egyptian pyramid—leading us through the evolution of military to her specialty, civil engineering. Susan McCall enlightened us on the nuances of commercial property signage, and Joyce Barden wrapped up with insights into long-term policy implications. Thank you to all the incredible women who made this meeting so enriching!
